This is my attempted reconstruction of the Boscaswell furnace. The rabble arms were driven by a belt from the mill to the east. Roasted ore was pushed through a grate and then raked onto a flat area in front of the furnace to cool off. After this it went to a Pinder table (or Sturtevant concentrator, a circular shaking table) then to a buddle.
