Help yourself to these free programs to install on your computer. If you have any requests or ideas for other material, or maybe you have some pictures you would like to donate, email us at:

Follow this link for the 2005 calendar.

Follow this link for wallpaper images.

Click on each thumbnail to see the larger version of it. If you would like this as the new background for your monitor simply right-click on the image and select Save as Wallpaper or Set as Background, depending on which version of Windows you use. To change back, right-click on your desktop and select Properties. A list of wallpapers will appear towards the bottom of the window. Select a different one or none (at the top of the list) then close the window.

There are two types of screensaver, single image and multiple image. The first has (obviously) a single image that has some effect applied to it. The multiple image saver works as a slideshow. Most of the images used here come from the Society's archive. The savers are a bit basic but will hopefully improve when I can afford some better software and have acquired more images.

As some of the files came out quite large I have also created screensavers with smaller images. To download, simply click on the screensaver(s) of your choice. Ignore the warning, these files are quite safe. You will be prompted to save the file on your hard drive; it is probably best to save it somewhere obvious such as your desktop. Once it has been copied to your computer double-click on the EXE file and this will install the screensaver as your default saver. To change this, right-click on your desktop and select Properties then Screensavers. Click on the dropdown list and select an alternative of your choice.

If you want to remove the screensaver from your computer the easiest way is this:

1. Note the name of the screensaver
2. Go to Start > Find > Files or Folders
3. Type in the name of the screensaver
4. After your computer has found the file, click on it once to highlight it then press the Delete key

Follow this link for the larger files.

Follow this link for the smaller files.

It will be possible to supply all of the screensavers on CD however a charge will need to be made to cover costs. Please contact curator@trevithick-society.org.uk if you would like this option. Please also let me know if you have any problems.
